The retailer automatically adds the card to the cart when shoppers preorder the 14- or 16-inch MacBook Pro or the M6 model.
Best Buy now includes a $100 gift card with preorders of Apple’s touchscreen MacBook Pro, the only retailer in the story offering the perk. The card lands in the cart automatically at checkout, and shoppers can confirm it in the Complete your purchase section. The offer covers 14-inch and 16-inch configurations, plus one 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip.
The hardware itself arrives as a modest update. Reviewers note the Tandem OLED panel’s brightness and contrast, but describe the broader changes as minor. Apple tuned macOS to enlarge the traffic-light window buttons when a finger approaches the screen. The PROLED models also run thinner and lighter than standard units, and the rear Apple logo glows again.
Retail bundles matter to teams that forecast hardware demand and plan device fleets. A gift card attached to preorders gives Best Buy a channel advantage and pulls early buyers toward one storefront. Operators tracking adoption of touch input on macOS should watch how developers respond, since the interface changes only matter if software uses them.
Watch preorder perks across retailers as launch day nears, since matching offers often appear once rivals see volume shift. Best Buy’s bundle applies to the highest-end configurations, which suggests the retailer is targeting buyers least sensitive to price. Teams planning device refreshes should compare total package value rather than sticker price alone.
